Ron Neufeld, CPA/ABV
Ron Neufeld brings more than thirty years of experience in accounting, finance, and transaction advisory services, with deep expertise in financial due diligence for lower middle-market companies. He spent twelve years in M&A Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), where he led diligence engagements across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, business services, healthcare, construction, media production, broadcast and cable operations, telecommunications, depository institutions, real estate brokerages, and financial services firms.
Ron established and led the TAS practice at Intrinsic, the Denver advisory firm Josh Cashman owned, helping build its M&A and valuation capabilities. Prior to that, he served for nearly a decade as a senior TAS manager in Deloitte’s Los Angeles office. Earlier in his career, Ron held CFO, treasurer, and controller roles for several commercial banks in Los Angeles, following foundational training in KPMG’s Los Angeles audit practice.
In addition to his advisory and leadership roles, Ron has made significant contributions to graduate education. As a professor and program lead in accounting and finance at Regis University in Denver, he developed and taught graduate courses in M&A finance, business valuation, financial statement analysis, auditing, managerial finance and accounting, and financial reporting. Ron has also been invited to speak on due diligence and M&A topics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, UCLA School of Law, and at ETA and other industry conferences.
Ron’s extensive experience across advisory, industry, and academia positions him as a trusted leader in financial analysis, due diligence, and transaction execution.

What Ron does at QoEAgent
Ron and Josh have done this work together before. Ron founded the transaction advisory practice at Intrinsic, the Denver advisory firm Josh owned, and built its merger and acquisition and valuation capabilities there. QoEAgent is the same pairing with better tooling underneath it.
He holds the CPA and the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential — another of the five designations SOP 50 10 8.1 names as a Qualified Source — and spent nearly a decade as a senior transaction advisory manager at Deloitte before that. On an engagement he owns the methodology: what gets normalized, which add-backs survive scrutiny, and where a cash proof has to reconcile before anything downstream can be trusted.
That judgment is the part automation does not replace. The software reconstructs cash from scanned statements and maps the trial balance; Ron decides what the result means and whether it holds. He works across the SBA quality of earnings engagements and the full quality of earnings databooks, and he taught transaction advisory and due diligence methodology at Regis University.
What a client said
“My SBA lender had questions about the seller’s books that no one could answer. Ron Neufeld and Josh Cashman of QoEAgent built a proof of cash and nearly four years of monthly cash-basis financials, and surfaced accounting adjustments that had never been recorded in the ledger.”
Matt Wolfe, searcher and ETA buyer, Colorado Springs, CO
Ron co-led that engagement, which found that the seller CPA’s year-end deferrals had never been posted to the general ledger. Read the proof of cash case study.
